I am convinced that
under-promising but "over
delivering" is considered normal
for Balloons and Beyond! The
U.A.B. Gospel Choir recently had
a concert performance that used
a theme entitled, 106 &Park.
Balloons and Beyond -- in the
spirit of promoting the theme --
created an actual street sign
with a realistic pole, base, two
standard-size street signs (that
could be placed on any street
corner), with a perfectly-sized
balloon atop that looked just
like a street light! Even the
street signs were custom made
with "106 & Praise" on one sign
and "UAB Gospel Choir" on the
2nd one, using the university's
colors. It was just the thing
needed for the concert theme and
was the backdrop for numerous
photos afterwards.
